Kodiaq plug-in hybrid: 18.1% less seats-up boot space
A powertrain decision can also be a luggage decision.
Relevant and Original Insights
Did you know? Škoda UK lists 910 litres for the five-seat Kodiaq and 745 for the five-seat PHEV. That is 165 litres, or 18.1%, less in the plug-in hybrid.
(910 − 745) ÷ 910 × 100 = 18.1%. Both entries are five-seat configurations.
If the plug-in hybrid is on your shortlist, test your usual luggage in that version. Do not use a general Kodiaq boot figure as if it applied to every powertrain. Weigh your charging access and driving pattern separately.
Škoda UK comparison checked September 8, 2026. Published volumes, not our fit tests. This does not compare the seven-seat version or establish an overall winner.
